The QuadTrend® 350 is an end treatment that can be attached to
concrete barriers, bridge rails, and abutments. The system consists
of QuadBeam™ fender panels, supports posts with slip bases,
and sand-filled cartridges. During head-on impacts, the cartridges
dissipates collision energy while the redirecting cable redirects
the vehicles behind the system. During side-impacts, the system
redirects errant vehicles away from concrete without vaulting, ramping,
or spearing. |
