The BarrierGate® is a TL-3 longitudinal barrier with a manual/automated
gate system. The gate system provides authorized personnel control
access through highway barrier opening while reducing illegal U-turns
and reducing serious accidents. The system consists of two movable
steel gates joined at the center with a strong pin/hook connection
and thrie-beam panels. Upon impacts, the continuous longitudinal
barrier redirects errant vehicles while preventing vehicle penetration,
vaulting, and underriding. |
